Anyone involved in the grinding industry may know that there is a problem of sphere breakage in the application of alumina balls, which has become an obstacle in the promotion of alumina ceramic balls. So how to solve this problem? We summarize the following points:
First of all, in terms of the damage rate of alumina balls, toughening elements can be added to the batching scheme of the ceramic balls to improve the toughness of the spheres, reduce the breaking rate of the spheres, and at the same time improve the wear resistance and impact resistance of the alumina ball milling process performance, and sliding impact and collision performance during grinding.
Furthermore, the two methods of alumina ball pressing and rolling are controlled. The compaction and impact resistance of the alumina pressed ball should be as strong as possible, so as to effectively reduce the damage rate.
Finally, try to grind according to the standard process of alumina balls, such as adding materials first, and then adding alumina balls to reduce the impact force and protect the alumina ceramic balls.
